Annual Benefactors Appreciation Reception - Oct. 26, 2005
Generous DHMC and DMS supporters braved unpredictable fall weather on October 26 to join MHMH President James Varnum, DMS Dean Stephen Spielberg, and D-H Clinic President Dr. Thomas Colacchio for DHMC's Annual Benefactors Appreciation Reception.
A DHMC tradition for over two decades, the reception gives our supporters an opportunity to interact with DHMC and DMS leadership and to learn how their generosity contributes to DHMC's and DMS's ability to transform medicine and improve the lives of our community and beyond.
Among the evening's highlights was Dr. Colacchio's keynote address, "Is There a Scientist in the House?," in which he cited our novel research approaches that are leading to enhanced medical knowledge and patient care. In addition, guests toured Norris Cotton Cancer Center's lab space and visited with several researchers.
