Griggs and Fahey Named Co-Chairs of Transforming
Medicine Campaign

Alfred L. Griggs, chair of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center Board of Trustees, and Peter M. Fahey, a DHMC Trustee and Co-Chair of the Dartmouth College Campaign for the Dartmouth Experience have assumed leadership of the Transforming Medicine Campaign following the death of Peter D. Williamson, MD in June. Both have served on the Transforming Medicine Campaign Executive Committee since the start of the Campaign in 2002.

"Peter set a very high bar for us all," said Fahey. "His belief in the excellence of Dartmouth medicine and its ability to transform medicine was inspirational."

Griggs and Fahey have stepped forward to lead the Campaign at a time when it is enjoying tremendous momentum, with Campaign commitments now exceeding $209 million towards its $250 million goal.

"I share the optimism that Peter so often expressed about this Campaign," said Griggs. "What better way could there be to honor him than to meet or even exceed our Campaign goal?"
