Transforming Medicine Reaches $131 Million
The Transforming Medicine Campaign for Dartmouth Medical School and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, which officially launched in May 2005, continues to gather momentum. As of August 11, 2006 the Campaign has raised over $131 million in commitments. This extraordinary accomplishment was made possible through the generosity of our community, patients, friends, and alumni.
Gifts to the Transforming Medicine Campaign are building endowment reserves, enhancing programs and services, supporting learning and teaching in clinical settings, advancing medical education, and stimulating a stronger annual giving program, as well as advancing the work of the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth and Norris Cotton Cancer Center.
While the Campaign's financial goal is to raise $250 million by the end of 2009, the broader goal is to improve health and the delivery of health care in our community, our region, our country, and our world.
